Jeanine van der Vlist appointed as director of Grootzakelijk at Essent

Jeanine van der Vlist (49) will be appointed Director of Major Business at Essent on 1 May. She has held this position since 1 November 2013 ad interim. As managing director Grootzakelijk, Van der Vlist is responsible for the supply of (sustainable) energy to the medium and large business market. This business unit manages the entire chain from product development, advice and sales to service provision

As managing director Grootzakelijk, Van der Vlist is responsible for the supply of (sustainable) energy to the medium and large business market. This business unit manages the entire chain from product development, advice and sales to service provision.

Jeanine is no stranger to the big business world. She comes from Alcatel-Lucent, where she worked since 2009 as VP and Country Managing Director. Previously, she worked as CEO at Worldmax and as Country Director & General Manager at Dell and ICL. In 2010, Computable chose her as CEO of the Year.

In addition to her work at Essent, Van der Vlist is a member of the Executive Board of Worldgranny, an organization that removes elderly people from loneliness and isolation and combats causes of poverty in old age worldwide.
