The initiative of Rackspace and the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), which consists of 65, 000 members, is chaired by Brain Kelly from Rackspace and Dave Cullinane from TruStar. Participants include Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Dropbox. The platform, developed by TruStar, functions as a kind of forum.

Together they hope to form a front against cyber attacks. This is necessary because many companies are still hesitant about the cloud.
