Zooplus: 2 million new customers, 30 percent revenue growth

For the current year, Zooplus expects to realize a turnover of 875 million euros, a percentage growth of 18 percent.

This morning the German listed webshop published the financial figures for 2015 (PDF). This shows that marketing investments of 10.8 million euros have actually landed. Of the four million active customers last year, half is in the books as 'new customer'. That is a huge turnaround compared to a few years ago when customer acquisition pressed the result firmly. Now there is a profit increase of 44 percent to 12.8 million euros.

In the Netherlands the turnover went from 45 million to 54 million euro, a plus of twenty percent. The Netherlands is the number 5 country in sales volume, of thirty, after Germany (199 million), France (119 million), England (64 million) and Italy (57 million euro).
