Microsoft veteran Terry Myerson will leave the company after 21 years. Myerson led the teams for Microsoft Exchange and Windows Phone. He was also involved in the development of Xbox and recently the HoloLens. There will be a new Experiences and Devices division headed by Rajesh Jha, now vice president of the Office Group

Microsoft veteran Terry Myerson will leave the company after 21 years. Myerson led the teams for Microsoft Exchange and Windows Phone. He was also involved in the development of Xbox and recently the HoloLens.

There will be a new Experiences and Devices division headed by Rajesh Jha, now vice president of the Office Group. The idea is to bundle Windows Office, devices and third-party applications in a smarter way.

The departure of Myerson is part of a large-scale chair dance. Scott Guthrie is going to run a new team at Microsoft that focuses on cloud and artificial intelligence.
