Amsterdam, 19 October 2017 : Tim Castree, Global CEO WAVEMAKER today announced that Isabelle Dacz will become CEO of WAVEMAKER Netherlands, the new media agency through the merger of MEC and Maxus + Helder. Amsterdam, 19 October 2017 : Tim Castree, Global CEO WAVEMAKER today announced that Isabelle Dacz will become CEO of WAVEMAKER Netherlands, the new media agency through the merger of MEC and Maxus + Helder.

Isabelle will lead a new management team with Edward Knol as Managing Director.

About Isabelle Dacz

Isabelle Dacz has more than twenty years of work experience in the international media industry, in various disciplines and diverse regions. Isabelle started her media career in France. Later she started working for Leo Burnett and Starcom in the Netherlands, where she was responsible for international clients and specialized in developing and implementing international media strategies.

Isabelle started at MEC in 2004. After several management positions, she has held the position of CEO since May 2016. In her time at MEC, Isabelle concentrated on the growth and digital transformation of the agency and its customers. Under her responsibility, a successful MEC engagement label was introduced. This label is fully dedicated to content strategy, social media, influencer marketing, creation and in-house production.

About Edward Knol

Edward Knol has more than twenty years of marketing experience on the customer side in both EMEA and North America. In 2012, his entrepreneurial spirit attracted him to build Maxus Netherlands. For Maxus, Edward has specialized in launching Dutch brands on the American market and American brands on the European market. Maxus has developed under the leadership of Edward in the last five years to the Brand Response agency of the Netherlands with clients such as Zalando, Trivago, HelloFresh and Talpa Radio. The strong growth of the office was partly helped by the acquisition of specialized media agency Helder in 2015.
