Sharp brings a new 70 inch PN-Q display to the market. With this, Sharp responds to the increasing demand from companies for displays for meeting rooms and digital signage applications in an affordable price range. In addition to the 70 inch screen size, Sharp will also release the 60 inch, 80 inch and 90 inch models from the PN-Q series in June.
Ronald Huijbregts, Manager Sales and Marketing Visual Solutions at Sharp Electronics Benelux: "The PN-Q series offers a wide selection of screen sizes and business functions, all within an attractive price range. This gives users the opportunity to choose the functions that meet their personal requirements. This is how we take the next step in our aim to offer a comprehensive range of solutions. "
Thanks to the UV2A technology and the anti-reflective coating, the screens of the PN-Q series offer sharp image quality. The displays can be connected to a LAN network and operated via an RS232 cable.
PN-R and PN-Y series
In addition, Sharp brings the seven models from the new PN-R and PN-Y series - which were presented at ISE 2017 earlier this year - on the market. The displays with clear image quality offer a signage solution for continuous use. The PN-Y series is already available, as are the 42 inch, 49 inch and 55 inch models of the PN-R series. The PN-R models with screen sizes 60 inch and 70 inch are available from June.
The new generation PN-R displays with a brightness of 700 cd are specially designed for busy locations such as airports. The screens of the PN-R and PN-Y series can be installed in various ways: downwards (face-down) or upwards (face-up) and in vertical or horizontal position.
The PN-R displays have a Mini-OPS expansion capability (Open Pluggable Specification), with which users can add additional functions. Sharp offers three modules: the PC module with Intel's economical CPU, the Wireless module for quick and easy screen exchange between self-brought devices and the HDBaseT module, which makes it easy to connect the long distance between the display and the HDMI components without cable. bridging.
The updated PN-Y series features an integrated USB media player with Content Distributor software for a 'plug and play' signage solution. Thanks to the automatic default to the USB, the picture will never fail - even if there are a signal failure in one of the video inputs. The PN-Y series includes displays in 32 inch, 43 inch, 49 inch and 55 inch sizes.
